Polarsteps Plus is a way to support our work, but it also brings new features to track your trip and remember every single detail. Here's what's included, what stays free, and how to sign up.

What stays free
All the features you've come to know and love are still free. This includes everything you need to plan future trips, track and share current travels, and look back on all your past adventures. You will see when the people you're following are subscribed to Polarsteps Plus, and they may choose to customize their trip using Plus features to share with you when you follow along with their trip.
You can keep using Polarsteps just as you always have, without subscribing.
How to sign up for Plus
You can subscribe to Polarsteps Plus in our app or when purchasing a Travel Book.
On iOS
- Open the Polarsteps app
- Open the settings menu and tap on Polarsteps Plus
- Choose monthly or annual
- Confirm your subscription payment through the App Store
On Android
- Open the Polarsteps app
- Open the settings menu and tap on Polarsteps Plus
- Choose monthly or annual
- Confirm your subscription payment through Google Play
Once payment goes through, Plus activates immediately after your app syncs and you'll see your new features right away.

Monthly or annual — which should I choose?
- Monthly is the easy way in. Try it, see how it fits, cancel any time.

Annual is better value if you know you'll stick around — you save 72% compared to paying monthly.
- The 20% Travel Book discount only comes with the annual subscription.

Prices may vary slightly by country and currency. The price you see in your app is the price you'll be charged.
Good to know

Signing up for Plus is currently only possible in the Polarsteps mobile app. All Plus features are available in the app, but might have limited support on our website.
