Once you've generated your Travel Book for the first time, or saved changes in the Editor, we'll always use that saved version going forward. This is to make sure any edits you made in the Travel Book Editor don't get overwritten by changes in your Trip.
This means that when you generate the Travel Book preview for the first time, we use the photo order and step texts as they are in your trip at that moment. After that, any changes you make in the Travel Book Editor are saved separately from your Trip.
Unfortunately, there's currently no feature to erase these changes and start fresh.
Made changes to your Trip? Here's how to get them into your Travel Book:
The easiest way to get your Travel Book up to date is by opening your Travel Book Editor and your Trip in two separate browser windows on your desktop. This way, you can easily switch between the two tabs.
To open the Travel Book Editor: Generate your Travel Book Preview, and once it's ready, tap the 'Edit Travel Book' button below the Preview to open the Editor. From here, you can manually update your step texts and rearrange your photos to match your Trip.
- You can copy your step texts from the step in your trip and then paste them into the step in the Travel Book Editor.
- If you added new photos to steps in your trip, then they will appear at the end of this step in your Travel Book. You can rearrange the photos in the editor to create the perfect layout for your Travel Book.
- You can edit the title of your Travel Book in the editor.
When you're done making changes, save your work using the 'Save & preview' button. Want to continue later? Just follow the steps above to regenerate your book and pick up where you left off.
