How much battery does the app use?
We have tested our Travel Tracker thoroughly and it hardly uses any additional battery power when tracking your route!
How much battery does Polarsteps use for a full day of tracking?
In general, Polarsteps will use about 4% of your battery for a full day of tracking your route in the background. This percentage can be a bit lower or higher depending on your exact device and circumstances. It should never be a lot more. Of course, when you use the Travel Tracker mode "high accuracy" on Android, this percentage can be a bit higher.
Note
If you have the Polarsteps app opened on your phone a lot, this percentage will of course be higher because opening an app consumes energy (just like opening any other app).
