What to do if you see an incorrect flight line in your trip?
The steps and Travel Tracker steps (the little white dots on your map) in your trip should always be chronological. This means that when you see incorrect (flight) lines on your map, it is most important to check if the route in your trip is chronological.
- You can do this by reviewing the location, time and date of the steps in your trip. Simply tap ‘Edit step’ to review these details
Below, you will find two common scenarios where incorrect flight lines might appear in your trip:
- If a flight is connecting two steps, or a step and a Travel Tracker step, this would indicate that the date, time, or location of these steps might need to be revised.
- It is very easy to check that the steps in your trip are in the correct order. If you see a flight line in your trip that doesn’t make sense, double check that your steps are placed in the right location with the correct time and date. Ensuring that each step follows the previous one chronologically will remove any incorrect (flight) lines.
- You can check this by going to the step(s) in your trip that are connected to a flight, and tapping ‘Edit Step’. Here, you can revise the location, date, and time of the step.
- If a flight line is connected to a random Travel Tracker step that is not part of your route, you can easily remove this from your trip.
- Tap on the small white dot to remove the Travel Tracker step *Do know that once a Travel Tracker step is removed from your trip it cannot be restored
Can I change a flight line into a solid line?
You can't change the transportation mode. But with this small hack you can still change a flight line into a solid line:
- When there is a flight line between Step A and Step B, you can create one or two manual Steps somewhere on the route you took between Step A and Step B (the route that is now connected with a flight line).
- When you place these steps somewhere on 1/3 and 2/3 of the route, they will connect Step A and Step B with a solid line.
