Whose device is using the Travel Tracker?

When you are tracking a trip with multiple people, you can choose whose device to use to keep track of your route! By default, the Trip owner’s device is tracking the trip route, but anyone in the Trip group can take over.

If you prefer to switch the tracking device, anyone in the Trip group can do so in the trip settings. In the app, open the Trip menu > Trip settings > Travel Tracker > Select the preferred device.

Please note that only one device can be used to track at a time. We do this to make sure that there will be only one route on your trip map. For consistency in your tracked route, we only recommend switching the Travel Tracker between devices when you are in the same location.
