Your map will look its best if you turn the Travel Tracker on during your trip. If you did have the Travel Tracker on and your route is incorrect, you can edit it directly in your trip. See this article for how to do that.
If you didn’t track your journey, your poster will show straight lines between destinations (we highly recommend using our 'snap to roads' feature in this case).
How to enhance your Travel Poster route
Our new Snap to Roads feature will allow you to create a more detailed overland route for your trip and Travel Poster. Regardless of whether your Travel Tracker was enabled or disabled during your trip, you can use this feature to create a more precise route of your trip.
How to enable Snap to Roads for your trip:
- Open your trip.
- Tap on a transport icon or on the route line between two steps.
- The selected route section will light up, and the transport menu opens.
- Enable the 'Snap to roads' toggle. The feature will then be enabled for the highlighted section of your trip.
- Don't forget to save your selection.
After making this change in your trip, you can generate your Travel Poster again, now with a more detailed trip route!
