Your Travel Poster just arrived and the edges are curling a little? Totally normal. Because it’s shipped safely in a tube, it sometimes needs a bit of help to relax and lie flat before framing or hanging.
Lay the Travel Poster flat
Pick a clean, spacious surface. Place your Travel Poster facedown, with the curled edges toward the table.
Place weights on top
Use books or other clean, flat objects and spread them out evenly across the Travel Poster.
Leave it for a few hours
Let the Travel Poster rest under the weights. A few hours usually works, but very curled Travel Posters may need longer.
Remove the weights and check
If it still curls a bit, repeat until it sits flat and is ready to go on the wall.
A few things to keep in mind
- The matte fine art paper is premium and delicate, so handle it gently to avoid scratches.
- Avoid sliding the Travel Poster across rough or dusty surfaces.
- Don’t 'reverse roll' the Travel Poster to flatten it — this can cause dents and creases.
